Do You Have What It Takes To Become a Business Owner and Entrepreneur?
The Quick Answer is Yes!
The more pertinent question to ask and the Longer Answer has to do with: "Are you ready to do what it takes to become an Entrpreneur?"
We've been talking a lot about being an entrepreneur and telling people how easy it is for entrepreneurs to make money, but you may have been asking yourself: "Have you got what it takes to command your destiny and achieve the monetary succcess that's necessary to pull it off?"
The reality of it is that truthfully, not everyone can be an entrepreneur.
No, it doesn't require a Ph.D. in microbiology or even a B.A. degree in Business. But what it does take is determination. That's the hardest part. That and the knowledge of what kind of plan you need, the contacts to make it work and the time to do it.
It means that despite the fact that people make mistakes - and, oh yes, you will make a lot of them - you must have the drive and determination to not give up.
It means not settling and hunkering down and focusing on what's important and brushing aside what's not important in your entreprenurial journey.

ANSWER:
They all failed incredibly. But... they never gave up.
No, being a successful entrepreneur is not super-easy, but it's also not mind-numbingly hard either. It requires a dedicated mind-set and the ability to keep going even when you want to quit.
It takes a combination of traits and characteristics, but then so does making things work in all aspects of your life. The key ingredient is to be sure that you are doing something that you really want to do, because usually, it will take some time..
How much time? Well, that depends on your business goals, your ability to see clearly what you want to do and having the opportunity to work on your goals.

And Now A Word Or Two about What To Do - And What NOT To do
It sucks when your job gets blowed up...
And to make it worse, those WERE the droids we were looking for!
Is this you after a long crushing episode of defeat?
Defeat is definitely hard to take, but the best advice that we can give is NOT to head to a bar and see if a couple of Sauranian Brandys straight-up, will bring the Death Star back! Because the bad news is that, No. A couple of Sauranian Brandys straight-up, will definitely NOT bring the Death Star back.
By the way, it took the Empire 4 years and another Star Wars Movie in between -The Empire Strikes Back- to partially rebuild the Death Star II and go on another rampage of the Galaxy.
In reality, it only took Lawrence Kasden and George Lucas about two weeks and 4 months of filming to make the 1983 Blockbuster Return Of The Jedi at a cost of USD$32.5 Million dollars - but who's counting? And no they didn't film it in this bar with these guys, because they got too drunk and missed the casting call!
Making the Star Wars movies was no walk in the park, as they were incredibly challenging to make. And not once did Lucas order a Sauranian Brandy straight-up, or otherwise. At least not while filming anyway.
In the real word, it took six long years of slugging it out, begging for funding, inventing things that previously didn't exist - like Industrial Light and Magic - and cajoling thousands of people into making the first 3 Star Wars films. But it was George Lucas's dream and while at times he wanted to give up, he never did.
The point we're trying to make is that it takes dedication and determination and a lot of coordination to bring the Death Star back and that it will also take a lot of determination to make your goals come true. But don't give up - one day you WILL find the droids you're looking for!
